Feb 28

It seems odd to be getting such cold weather at the end of February, especially after a relatively mild winter. I decided to go straight home from the Ace on Friday night, rather than go into the west end and our regular meeting place for tricks. As I was leaving the car park I saw one car slide into the rear of another on the icy road. That kind of confirmed my decision! Hopefully the worst is over and we’ll have some good weather in time for when I get my new bike!

Hope you’ll take care of this one and not leave it running around where people can nick it …. :)

LOL, Owen’s referring to when I had a 6 month old R6 stolen from the car park of his former workplace. I think it was just a cunning ploy to try and keep me there so I would do some work for them! Actually, I’m still a bit paranoid about leaving my bike anywhere I can’t see it; If I wake up in the middle of the night I have to peek out of the curtains to check on it before I can get back to sleep. It’s strange how these things affect you.

I know how you feel Dave. I keep the gixxer in the house and have a mock-up version of it kept outside (on private property, I might add) hooked up to the mains power. Disposing of the bodies that accumilate is proving a logistical headache.
